I've only had for about 17 hours and I've already fallen deeply in love with him. He's staying overnight at the vet. I hope we have good news tomorrow!

She was not responding to Penobarb & other IV's etc.. I may have saved her life as I found her as a stray who literally walked into my yard from the road. Just as I may have saved her life, Molly may have saved mine..as she came along at a very difficult time in my life. She was my traveling buddy, & a huge part of my life. I had been looking desperately for him for a week or so. She advised me he was most likely dead from the attack. If he alive please pray for his recovery and that myself and his loving dog Yellow still look and call for him on our walks. He always joined us unexpectedly. My guinea pig is a family pet i was given as a child about 6 years ago, now she has aged all of a sudden and is dying fast but too slow! she cannot use her legs and can hardly move its heatbreaking. she still loves to eat on fresh fruit and veg! still full of life even tho she can hardly move. We rushed him to the vet but the x-rays showed nothing. The MRI might show something but it cost $900 and he might not make it. request... I am asking for prayers and healing for my dog Diamond, 2/19/1990 a german short haired pointer Liver with white ticking.. He is in good shape for his age but recently developed a significant anemia that we have not been able to isolate. He became really sleepy and inappetant on Wed and his gums were pale. So far his results are inconclusive. I pray for him to heal for me to find the source of this anemia and be able to correct it. Tonight he vomitined his dinner that I hand fed and didn't eat well please help us. As we all know they are like part of the family and when something happens to them it is hard to deal with - especially since they depend so much on us. Sat Evening: We stopped in Tifton to eat at about 7:45 and there was a wait so we decided to get back on the road. We called Missy's dad to tell him we were going to come on home instead of staying in a hotel and he was at the emergency animal hospital with Goliath (Missy's Yorkie - 11 years old) Apparently Goliath was on her dad's lap watching TV and Creek (the 60 lb lab) decided that he was going to jump up on her dad's lap as well. He landed on Goliaths head (5lb dog). Goliath was instantly out and was not breathing. He dad said he was limp and his eyes had rolled back in his head. Her dad actually gave him mouth to mouth and got him to start breathing again after just a couple of attempts. He took him to the hospital. I feel so bad for her dad. We made it back to Brandon at about 11:15 and Goliath is doing better but it remains to be seen if he will make a full recovery. He suffered head trauma and had swelling of his little brain. They gave him an IV for the swelling as well as some other fluids. He did recognize us and crawled over into our arms when we opened up the oxygen tank they have him in. The vet told me when her dad brought him in he had rapid eye movement from the head trauma but was getting better and his pupils were getting more regular. I stopped back again at about 2 am and he is slowly getting better. He has a balance issue from his head trauma. He falls over if he tries to walk. They said the first 24 hours are the most critical. This dog just loves me - he will sit and just stare at me for long periods of time - it is the strangest thing. I am going to get a couple of hours sleep and go back over and check on him. If you get a chance drop her an email (missy.sorrento@hotmail.com). I just keep telling her to think positive. Missy was absolutely a wreck on the way home. I will keep you posted. Joe Update - Sun Eve: he is off of the oxygen. He ate baby food and drank water. He is still having motor skills issues - mostly balance. He trys to walk and just falls over after a couple of steps. His left eye appears to be a little bugged out - they say that is from the swelling of his brain. He is a tough little guy.

To my dismay one day Henretta poked her head out of hole in the wall and touched my shoulder, and greeted herself. Since that day she had won my heart. Today she was diagnosed with FIV, I had her put to sleep. There was no recovery option for her. I hope now that she may rest in peace. May God watch over her. request... He wasn't mine, he was the barn's. A loving school horse I thought I'd never befriend. it was last summer I was to groom him, not because I wanted too but because I was assigned to the shaggy beast, he had founder, a common foot disease and you couldn't bump the hooves or clean them out. So I walked into the stall thinking 'what the hell is a horse you can't ride doing here?' well I soon found out because that very horse I hated became my best friend. I was a teenager that hated the world last year, I wanted no part in grooming him or even touching his sandy peach colored fur, or saying somthing nice, but that one nuzzle on the shoulder...made everything change. Those 20 minutes in that stall doing what I was told to do, changed everything. I soon fell in love with the very horse I hated to be near. The last teaching he gave me was Friendship, well the day he died, I thought 'well what am I to do now? he's gone...' he told me to love again, I'll never find another Inca, no one can say I will. There will never be a thirty year old horse with founder and give me the gift of friendship ever again. He'll be my only one. I'll leave a memory of him here, and for anyone who lost a friend, like my Inca I'm truelly sorry, the world seems to be better now for me. and Inca is with a little white pony named London Fog, she was put to death alongside him, neither could walk or stand anymore. I'm sad, but he's where he wanted to go. Heaven, all animals go there, don't they?
